PLAMCOR®-1
PLAMCOR®-1
Vinyl acetate water-dispersed paint
- Color: White
- Packing: Single-packed
Recommended use
Fire protection of metal structures indoors at a relative humidity of no more than 85%. Provides a fire resistance limit of up to 90 minutes. It is used as a flame retardant layer in complex systems of protective coatings with anticorrosive and other primers.
MAIN AREAS OF APPLICATION
Industrial and civil construction.
FLAME RETARDANT EFFICIENCY
Fire rating of the coat with metal thickness of 3.4 mm is:
-45 minutes – coat thickness of 0.75 mm;
-60 minutes- coat thickness of 1.2 mm
Fire rating of the coat with metal thickness of 5.8 mm is 90 minutes with coat thickness of 1.50 mm.
CERTIFICATION
- Certificate of compliance with the requirements of the EAEU TR 043/2017 No.EAEU RU C-RU.PB34.V.00046/21 dated 24.09.2021,

RECOMMENDED CONDITION OF THE PAINTED SURFACE
Primer coating shall be cleaned from dirt, dust and decreased, shall be free from moisture and shall not have any corrosive degradation, flaking off and cracking.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
prior to use mix thoroughly until homogeneous;
if required prior to application dilute with water until working consistency;
Apply at temperatures from plus 5 to plus 40 °C and relative air humidity of up to 85 %.
The coat is not water resistant – so in the course of application one shall rule out the possibility of moistening (including condensate)!
Holding period of the primer coating prior to application of paint PLAMCOR-1 shall be not less than 24 hours
The paint is applied in 1-4 layers depending on the fire rating requirements and metal thickness; holding time for interlayers – not less than 12 hours at a temperature of (20±2)°C.
Natural atmospheric drying. The time of complete drying is not less than 3 days.
The PLAMCOR-1 coating is repairable.
If necessary, 1 or 2 layers (thickness 50-80 mcm) of finishing enamel may be applied onto the fire-proof coating. Holding time between application of the last layer of the fire-proof paint and application of the finishing enamel shall be not less than 24 hours.

Storage and handling
The paint is packed in plastic buckets.
Storage and transportation of the paint are carried out in accordance with GOST 9980.5-2009 (ambient temperature from plus 5 to plus 40 °C). During storage, the container should not be exposed to precipitation and direct sunlight.
The shelf life in air-tight original manufacturer’s containers is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
PRECAUTIONS
When using paint one shall observe the respective industry-specific regulations and norms.
COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER MATERIALS
It is used as finishing coat or undercoat in the integrated protective coating systems PLAMCOR intended for protection of metal structures from corrosion and fire. It is applied onto the ground coatings ZINOTAN (TU 2312-017-12288779-2003), ZINEP (TU 20.30.12-022-12288779-2018), ZFES (TU 20.30.12- 004-12288779-2017), VINICOR-061 (TU 20.30.12-001-543595536-2018) and GF-021 with layer thickness of 40-80 mcm, other types of primers may be used only if agreed upon with the manufacturer of the paint. Use of other paint products in the protective coating systems is allowed only if approved by the VMP Holding.
