Fireproofing materials

The range includes three types of flame-retardant materials:

  • intumescent (fire retardant paints);
  • structural (plaster mix);
  • combined (thermal insulation composition + intumescent paint).
Intumescent coatings at high temperatures are transformed into a porous heat insulating layer (coked cellular material) that protects the metal from overheating and increases the fire resistance of metal structures up to 120 minutes.
The structural fire-retardant paint creates a strong barrier with low thermal conductivity, preventing exposure to high temperatures on metal structures for an extended period (up to 240 minutes).
The combined structural fire protection creates a barrier of the thermal insulation layer and foamed coked cellular material (up to 120 minutes) and is recommended for metal structures with small reduced thickness.
In the PLAMKOR line there are materials for protecting metal structures indoors and in an open air environment, as well as in conditions of a hydrocarbon fire.
The use of flame-retardant materials together with anti-corrosive primers of VMP provides long-term comprehensive protection of metal structures.
The compatibility of flame-retardant paints and primers, as well as the possibility of using materials in areas with high seismicity, is confirmed by certificates.
