RECOMMENDED USE
protective and decorative painting of metal surfaces, as well as mineral surfaces (concrete, reinforced concrete, brick and asbestos), operating at temperatures from minus 60 to plus 600 °C in the industrial atmosphere of various climatic regions, in shipbuilding, ship repair. Used as an independent coating.
SPECIFICATIONS
Independent coating;
All-season application (from – 15 oC to + 35 oC).
The heat resistance and anti-corrosion protection of the primer-enamel coating depends on the thickness of the coating:
Coating operating temperature, °C
Up to 600 Up to 400 Up to 250 Up to 100
Recommended thickness of two-layer coating, microns
35-55 55-80 80-120 100-150
When exposed to high temperatures, changes in color and gloss may occur, which do not affect the protective properties of the coating.
AREAS OF APPLICATION
VINICOR primer enamel is used in industrial, civil, and transport construction, energy, and the agro-industrial complex.
CERTIFICATION
Certificate of state registration No. RU.77.01.34.008.E.003259.12.21 dated 20.12.2021.
Industrial and civil construction: Approved by the testing center of Scientific Industrial Holding Lakokraspokrytie (Khotkovo).
DESCRIPTION
VINICOR-term is used as an independent coating. Primer enamel is heat-resistant, anti-corrosion based on a modified organosilaxane resin.

The theoretical consumption is 45-250 g/m2 per 1 layer.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Carbon steel.
degrease the metal surface to the 1st degree according to GOST 9.402;
cleaning from scale, rust and traces of old paint to degree 2 according to GOST 9.402 (Sa 2½ or St 3 according to ISO 8501-1); Recommended surface profile 25-40 microns (segment 1-2 of comparator G according to ISO 8503-1);
remove dust.
Stainless steel.
degrease the metal surface to the 1st degree according to GOST 9.402;
roughen the surface manually or mechanically using sandpaper or non-metallic abrasive;
remove dust.
Concrete surface.
The curing of the concrete base after laying the concrete before applying primer-enamel should be at least 28 days; after using leveling mixtures - in accordance with the regulatory documentation of the mixture manufacturer. The moisture content of concrete in a surface layer 20 mm thick should be no more than 4% (there should be no film moisture on the surface of the concrete, the surface of the concrete should be dry to the touch).
The surface must be uniformly rough and free from protruding reinforcement, cracks, potholes, cavities, sagging, chipped ribs, oil stains, dirt and dust.
remove dirt, oil and grease contamination;
remove lime (cement) laitance, destroyed or peeling layers of concrete and old coatings using abrasive cleaning, a grinding machine or brushes;
remove dust;
repair cracks and chips.
The coating must be dry, clean and free from oil and dust before applying subsequent coats.
Instructions for use
Before use, stir until smooth;
If necessary, dilute to working viscosity.
The material is recommended to be applied in factory and field conditions at temperatures from minus 15 to plus 35 ° C and relative air humidity of no more than 85%. The temperature of the surface to be painted must be at least 3 °C above the dew point.
The enamel primer prepared for application must have a temperature of at least plus 15 °C. It is recommended to apply primer-enamel in 2 layers using airless, conventional (air) spraying, brush/roller onto a clean, dry surface.
Airless spray
No thinner
Paint pressure at nozzle exit – 12-19 MPa (120-190 bar)
Nozzle diameter 0.011’’-0.019’’ (0.28-0.48 mm)
Conventional (air) spray
Recommended thinner SOLVIN-14, SOLVIN-15, xylene up to 5% by mass
Compressed air pressure 0.2-0.4 MPa (2-4 bar)
Nozzle diameter – 1.8–2.2 mm;
Brush, roller
Recommended thinner SOLVIN-14, SOLVIN-15, xylene up to 5% by mass
Drying between layers of primer-enamel at a temperature of 20 ° C - at least 1 hour. Drying time depends on surface and ambient temperature, degree of material dilution, coating thickness, ventilation efficiency and relative air humidity.
The final formation of the primer-enamel coating occurs as a result of thermosetting: heating at a temperature of at least 250 °C for at least 1 hour. When exposed to high temperatures, changes in color and gloss may occur, which do not affect the protective properties of the coating.
The recommended holding time for the coating before thermosetting is at least 24 hours at a temperature of (20±2) °C and a relative air humidity of 85% and no more than 1 month in an open atmosphere.
STORAGE AND HANDLING
The material is packaged in metal buckets and metal cans.
Storage conditions - in accordance with GOST 9980.5 (at ambient temperatures from minus 40 to plus 40 ° C). When storing the container with the material, it should not be located near heat sources, exposed to precipitation or direct sunlight.
Guaranteed shelf life of primer-enamel is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
PRECAUTIONS
When working, comply with the relevant industry standards and requirements, as well as the precautions indicated on the container label.
Use personal protective equipment (goggles, masks, respirators), avoid inhaling solvents during evaporation and contact of the material or its components with the skin, mucous membranes of the eyes and respiratory tract; Use indoors only if sufficient ventilation is provided.
The material is flammable!
