Recommended use

ZVES-A composition increases the coefficient of friction when applied to the contact surfaces of friction joints of steel structures on high-strength bolts, pre-primed with the zinc-filled ZVES composition. The ZVES-A + ZVES coating system provides additional protection of structures for the period of interoperative storage from atmospheric exposure.

DESCRIPTION

ZVES-A is a specialized material for use in conjunction with the composition of ZVES to protect friction joints. ZVES-A creates an additional protective layer and imparts the necessary roughness to the coating to increase coefficient of friction of the contact surfaces of friction joints.

The theoretical consumption per 1 layer of dry coating with the recommended dilution of 10% by weight is 160.0 g/m2.

RECOMMENDED CONDITION OF THE PAINTED SURFACE

Surface coated by ZVES should be cleaned of dirt, if necessary, degreased with aqueous solutions of detergents with a pH from 6 to 8 (light degreasing with white spirit is allowed) and free from dust.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

mix the base thoroughly until smooth;

with constant stirring, add a binder to the base in a mass ratio of 100:13.4;

dilute by 10% by weight with solvent SOLV-ES (TU 2319-080-12288779-2009);

immediately before application, mix again until smooth.

The composition should be applied in one layer by pneumatic spraying (with a roller or brush, if necessary) in factory and field conditions at temperatures from minus 15 ° C to plus 40 ° C and relative humidity from 30% to 80% (optimally from 50% to 80%).

When painting, use spray guns with an upper tank, working according to HVLP technology (high volume, low pressure).

STORAGE OF ANTICORROSIVE COMPOSITION

The composition is supplied as a complete set: the base and binder, packed in metal buckets, metal cans and plastic bottles, depending on the weight of the kit.

Storage and transportation of the composition – in accordance with GOST 9980.5-2009 (at ambient temperature from minus 40 ° C to plus 40 ° C). The composition and its components must be stored in the original hermetically sealed container away from heat sources. Container with components should not be exposed to precipitation and direct sunlight.

The shelf life of the composition's components in an original hermetically sealed container is 6 months from the date of manufacture.

SECURITY MEASURES

When working with the composition, the relevant industry standards and requirements should be observed, as well as the precautions indicated on the packaging label.

Personal protective equipment (glasses, face masks and respirators) shall be used, inhalation of thinners and contact of the composition or its components with skin, ocular mucosa, respiratory channels shall be avoided; use inside the premises is allowed only in case sufficient ventilation is provided.

The composition refers to fire-hazardous materials.
