DESCRIPTION
Epoxy enamel ISOLEP-mio is used as an additional protective layer in complex coating systems. It is compatible with primers manufactured by VMP on an epoxy and ethyl silicate basis. The anti-corrosion pigment, such as "iron mica" pigment, contained in the enamel composition, prevents aggressive substances from penetrating to the primer layer, thus preserving the protective properties of the coating for an extended period of time. Epoxy enamel ISOLEP-mio is resistant to wet environments and spills of oil and petroleum products, solutions of salts, acids and alkalis. It is recommended for application in factory and field conditions in the temperature range from -10 OC to + 40 oC.
To protect against intense UV radiation on top of ISOLEP-mio, it is recommended to apply weather-resistant enamel POLYTON-UR (UV).

*The specified curing time is recommended to be taken as a guideline for the technological process. In fact, the curing time depends on the temperature of the surface and ambient air, the degree of dilution of the material, the thickness of the coating, the efficiency of ventilation, the relative humidity of the air, the design features of the structures and may differ from the indicated.
If the maximum time is exceeded and the structures are stored for a long time under the influence of sunlight, additional measures are necessary to improve the adhesion of the layers of the coating enamels – treatment of the coating with ISOLEP-mio using detergent MS-01 (TS 2381-095-12288779-2013). Application technology of MS-01 is given in the Technical Specification for the tool.
STORAGE OF ANTICORROSIVE ENAMEL
The enamel is supplied as a complete set: base and hardener, packed in metal buckets, metal cans, depending on the weight of the set.
Storage and transportation of enamel components (base and hardener) – in accordance with GOST 9980.5 (at ambient temperature from minus 40 to plus 40 ° C). During storage, the container should not be exposed to precipitation and direct sunlight.
Shelf life in hermetically enclosed original containers: base – 12 months and hardener – 18 months starting with the manufacture date.
SECURITY MEASURES
When working with the enamel one shall observe the existing sectoral standard norms and requirements and safety measures as specified on the package label.
It is necessary to use personal protective equipment (glasses, masks, respirators), avoid inhaling solvents during evaporation and getting the composition on the skin, mucous membranes of the eyes and respiratory tract; use indoors only with sufficient ventilation.
