RECOMMENDATIONS FOR APPLYING ENAMEL
Surface preparation
remove dirt, oil and grease contamination;
remove lime (cement) milk, destroyed or peeling layers of concrete and old coatings by abrasive cleaning, grinding machine or brushes;
dedusting;
repair cracks and chips.
The concrete surface prepared for the application of paint and varnish coating should be uniformly rough and have no protruding reinforcement, large defects: cracks, potholes, sinks, surges, chipped ribs, oil stains, dirt and dust.
The holding time of the concrete base after the concrete placement and prior to the primer application should be at least 28 days; after the leveling compound application - according to the regulatory documents of the compound manufacturer. The surface humidity (in a surface layer 20 mm thick) is not more than 4%.
When using VINIKOR-acrylic-013 as the final layer in a composite coating (or when applying enamel in multiple layers), the surface of the underlying layer must be dry, clean, and free from oil and dust.
Instructions for use
mix thoroughly before use;
if necessary, dilute to working viscosity.
The material is recommended to be applied in factory and field conditions at temperature of +5 to + 35 ° C and a relative humidity of no more than 85%. When painting is required at an ambient air temperature ranging from +25°C to +35°C, it is recommended to use SOLV-EP thinner The temperature of the painted surface should be at least 3°C above the dew point. The enamel is recommended to be applied in 1-2 coats using airless spray, brush, or roller methods.
Airless spraying Recommended thinners are SOLVIN-14, SOLVIN-15, SOLV-EP, up to 10% by weight.
The paint pressure at the nozzle outlet should be 15-22 MPa (150-220 bar).
the nozzle diameter is 0.38–0.53 mm (0.015"-0.021").
Brush / Roller Recommended thinners are SOLVIN-14, SOLVIN-15, SOLV-EP, up to 10% by weight.
Equipment cleaning Recommended thinners are SOLVIN-14, SOLVIN-15, SOLV-EP, up to 10% by weight.
Intermediate drying between enamel coats at a temperature of +20°C should be at least 1 hour, and at +5°C, it should be at least 5 hours. The curing time depends on the surface temperature, ambient air temperature, coating thickness, ventilation efficiency, and relative humidity of the air.
STORAGE OF ANTICORROSIVE ENAMEL
The material is supplied in metal buckets.
Storage conditions – in accordance with GOST 9980.5 (at ambient temperature from minus 40 to plus 40 ° C). During storage, containers with material components should not be placed near heat sources, exposed to atmospheric precipitation, or direct sunlight.
The warranty period of storage is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
PRECAUTIONS
When working, observe the relevant industry standards and requirements, as well as the precautions indicated on the packaging label.
Personal protective equipment (goggles, face masks and respirators) shall be used, inhalation of thinners and contact of the composition or its components with skin, ocular mucosa, respiratory channels shall be avoided; use inside the premises is allowed only in case sufficient ventilation is provided.
The material and its components are flammable!
