RECOMMENDATIONS FOR APPLYING PRIMER ENAMEL
The concrete surface prepared for the application of paint and varnish coating should be uniformly rough and have no protruding reinforcement, large defects: cracks, potholes, sinks, surges, chipped ribs, oil stains, dirt and dust.

The order of execution of works:

removal of dirt, oil and grease contamination;

removal of lime (cement) milk, destroyed or peeling layers of concrete and old coatings by abrasive cleaning, grinding machine or brushes, washing with water under high pressure;

repair of cracks and chips;

dedusting.

The holding time of the concrete base after the concrete placement and prior to the primer application should be at least 28 days; after the leveling compound application - according to the regulatory documents of the compound manufacturer. The moisture content of concrete in the surface layer with a thickness of 20 mm should be no more than 10%.

before applying the primer-enamel mix thoroughly until smooth;

if necessary, dilute the enamel primer with drinking water to the working viscosity immediately before application;

It is recommended to apply the primer-enamel at the temperatures from +5 to +30°C and relative humidity from 30 to 80% It is prohibited to apply the coating on the frozen or damp surface, in the case of strong winds and atmospheric precipitation.

Recommended application parameters:

Airless spraying Recommended diluent Drinking water
The amount of diluent is not more than 5% by weight
Nozzle Diameter 0.013" - 0.021" (0.33 - 0.53 mm)
Pressure 15 - 20 MPa (150 - 200 bar)
Air spraying Recommended diluent Drinking water
The amount of diluent is not more than 5% by weight
Nozzle size 1.8 - 2.2 mm
Pressure 0.2 - 0.4 MPa (2 - 4 bar)
Brush/roller Recommended diluent Drinking water
The amount of diluent is not more than 5% by weight
Drying of the coating is natural. Each subsequent layer of primer-enamel is applied after the previous layer has dried to a degree of 3 according to GOST 19007-73 – no earlier than 4 hours at a temperature of (20 ± 2) ° C.
The holding time of the coating before the adhesion is determined and before the start of operation is 7 days after application.

Avoid the use of detergents and strong cleaning of the freshly painted surface, as the coating reaches its final hardness and durability within 28 days after painting.

STORAGE OF ANTICORROSIVE PRIMER ENAMEL
The primer-enamel is packed in plastic buckets or cans.
 It is recommended to store in a tightly closed and sealed container without exposure to air and moisture, in the closed warehouse at an ambient temperature from +5°C to +25°C. During storage, the container shall not be exposed to atmospheric precipitation and direct sunlight.
The guaranteed shelf life of the varnish in a tightly close and sealed manufacturer's container should be 12 months from the date of manufacture.

PRECAUTIONS
When working with the primer-enamel, it is necessary to comply with the relevant industry codes and requirements, as well as the precautions indicated on the container label.
It is necessary to use personal protective equipment (goggles, masks, breathing masks), avoid inhalation of solvents during evaporation and contact of the compound with the skin, eye mucous membranes and respiratory tract; indoor use with adequate ventilation only.
